Every other summer, the Dickson family approaches a heaven-like state in the beautiful Outer Banks of North Carolina. This year's trip was my first time going in 6 years, and it was spectacular.
Those in attendance:
A few things that we did:
Ongoing Parcheesi and pool tournaments throughout the week, the traditional talent show (Dana's magic trick gets me every time!), delicious dinners every night, the Newlywed game and other fun activities, inspirational morning devotionals, late night hot tubbing, and an unforgettable mothers' advice panel made OBX 2009 pure heaven.

GREAT post. And I'm in love with the picture you took of Elle...every time I see her name, "Ellery Page" I love it even more. :) Glad we could play for a week...too bad we can't do that more often...
In fact, I hope it's okay that I steal the picture. :)
Looks like a great trip. I love the captions on the pictures!
Holy cow! How many people is that? I want to be part of the Dickson family! Yall sure do love each other, to have that many people in such close quarters!
My brother and his wife love vacationing in OBX...I'm gonna have to head out there one day.
Did you really like 'Their Eyes Were Watching God?' That book made me so angry!
Anyway, in regards to your older posts, I'm SO glad Rick is home and I'm definitely loving your hair these days:)
Looks like you guys have a great family! Beth and Random are the sweetest couple to each other! LOVE the vinyl! I'm going to OBX today so your post made me way excited!
