Dear Everett,

I don't know what you're waiting for, but I sure am trying to figure it out.

Your father finished his big exam 15 minutes ago. I imagine you might have been worried about that, but now he's finished and has the weekend free!

Your big brother Carson has plenty of people ready to take care of him, so don't worry about that either. As a matter of fact, I think these nice people are sick and tired of me calling and telling them you are on the way.

Aunt Ashley arrives tonight, and she would really like to be here to see YOU, not so much the pre-game show.

And if you're worried about me having the energy to push you out, well, you'd better come sooner than later, because I'm certainly not getting any rest with these contractions keeping me up at night.

And if you're upset that you don't have your own pretty nursery all set up, I'm sorry about that. To make up for it, I just finished this banner for you, which will hang in our room until you move in with Carson.

I appreciate your considering all of these concerns, but let me assure you that we are now READY!!!!

Love,

Your Mother

How sweet. You gave me goosebumps. I'm just so excited for you. I hope Everett (love the name!) comes quickly and that things go perfectly!

By the way, are you from Virginia? We are seriously interested in the University of Virginia Medical School. We've heard so many good things about it. I think it's my hubby's first choice right now, but we'll see how it all goes! I'm curious how the church/schools are there.

I didn't know you are going to name him Everett. Cute! How did you make that banner? And out of what? I love it! Come on, Everett we all want to meet you!

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one that thinks this WAITING thing is way over rated. I've been ready to have baby #2 for about a month, and we are still waiting. I LOVE the new little guy!
