Spring has sprung...

...in our living room.

Sometimes, when your husband is working a 30 hour shift on the weekend (for the fourth weekend in a row), you feel entitled to do things like go to Michael's and spend a nice chunk of money on some lovely flowers. Then staying up until midnight making a wreath helps curb the loneliness. Rick is enjoying his internal medicine rotation, and we are making the best of it!

I'm glad I am not the only one who has done this. Sometimes I feel a little guilty and then I think, what was I supposed to do while he was working long hours when we are used to having him home:) Good Luck with this rotation! Ryan's busy time ends this weekend so I'm hoping we can make it just a bit longer.

Cute! I wish we lived close so we could have craft nights...that's what I do too when Brian's gone at night!

Your wreath looks very beautiful and professionally done. Carson is so lucky to have you as his Mom and be growing up in a supportive and creative environment. thanks for the phone call. I was amazed that Everett could communicate so well for 2 years old. A Hotdog Birthday cake, not that is truly original is that !
