I am (not) a fashion blogger.

Ok, so I don't consider myself to be a very fashionable person. Being a full time mom on a budget doesn't really give me many opportunities or resources to dress super cute. But, lately I've subscribed to a few fashion blogs and have thought I could get a little more creative with my wardrobe choices.

SO, I am totally nervous about this, but I am participating in Kayla's 10 day challenge. I thought it would help me use more items of clothing that I usually don't pull out. (And maybe decide on some that I could give the boot.)

Day 1's prompt: Layers.

Here we go.

Day 1: Layers
Totally awkward photo of me pretending to be a fashion blogger.

Day 1: Layers
I feel much more natural when holding a baby.

You should join the challenge! See here for the next prompt.

Just so you know, everybody else thinks you are totally cute and fashionable! We even talk about it when you're not around. Like when Melissa told me you MADE your cute stripey skirt. I seriously go to church each week hoping I will look as cute as you (your family really provides us with a lot of church-related motivation I guess.).

I'm so glad you're participating! It is awkward (believe me, I know) but it's fun! And the pops of red are so great...the red socks are my favorite! You look fantastic :)

I love the pops of color under the boots and in your earrings. Very cute! I still think that style isn't about the $ you spend - but what you do with it. I was a stay at home mom from September of 2010 to August of 2011. You look great.
